Training

To meet the growing demand of our members, ISSA Central Virginia Chapter now offers our members training in various subject areas.

Here's some feedback from a few of the CISSP Study group attendees.

“ The class was a great tool, in fact I know people that took a $5,000 week long boot camp (with test included at the end of the boot camp) and did not pass, so that tells you something.
But I did diligently study every day, take exams every day, and listened to Shon Harris on my iPod EVERY DAY!! I can still hear her rambling voice in my head.”

-James Parks, Security Advisor
Wellpoint, Inc
.

“I passed!!! Thank you very much for the excellent slides, instruction, and advice on test strategy. Also I am thankful for the encouragement and support your course provided me, right up to the
actual test day!”

Kelly Yamaguchi
Tesla

“I just learned that I passed ! I had already decided that, at this stage of my life, I wasn’t going to face that exam again. It's nice to have it go my way. Read the material but spend most of your time taking practice exams, tracking the questions you miss, reviewing the suggested answers, and re-taking the practice exams at increasing levels of difficulty.”
Cameron Caffe, Internal Controls
VDOT

“The class helped me to focus on the specific areas I needed most. One specific area that was very beneficial was the thought process to use for reading the questions and how to relate the answers to the question. “
Tim Bailey, Perimeter Security
